Ridge was built on a strong family tradition in the plumbing and HVAC industry that spans three generations. Kevin Thornton, President of Ridge Plumbing & HVAC, is a third-generation plumber who grew up around the trade and learned firsthand the value of hard work, integrity, and taking pride in every job.
Kevin was born in Midland, TX and raised in Greenwood K-12. He is married to Lynessa also from Midland and together they have 4 amazing children – Jamie, Cale, Brayden & Berkley. Kevin comes from a long line of plumbers, including his father, grandfather and uncles, all of whom spent their lives working in the trade. His father, Donny Thornton, owned and operated D&K Mechanical in Midland, a successful plumbing and HVAC company, for more than 40 years before retiring. Watching his father build a respected company and serve his community helped shape the values that Ridge Plumbing & HVAC operates by today. Kevin’s cousin, Jayson Thornton, has 20 plus years’ experience and serves as the plumbing manager, having also learned the trade from the same men who helped shape Kevin’s career. He also brought on Mark Leak, the same HVAC professional that managed at D&K Mechanical for more than 20 years, someone whose knowledge and experience have been proven over the years in the industry.
With more than 30 years of plumbing experience and 40 years of HVAC experience behind our team, Ridge Plumbing & HVAC combines generations of knowledge with a commitment to modern, dependable service.
